We will have an adaptive swimming program on Wednesday evenings from June 5th through July 17th. Lessons will take place in Trinity University’s indoor pool at 5:00-5:45 or 5:45-6:30.  If you are interested in participating, please complete the registration form at https://files.constantcontact.com/c3a7031d001/c0004bce-646f-4964-bd2f-c5cada23d85c.docx and email it to Robyn Winston Cohen at rwinston@hschealth.org by June 3rd. If many registration forms are received, forms will be chosen at random. The forms that do not get chosen will be added to the waiting list. Note: Unfortunately, you are unable to choose the class in which your child will be placed. Instead, we will place your child in the most appropriate class. There is a $50 charge that is due at the first session. Parents are invited and encouraged to get into the pool with their child during lessons. Note: If you received an email from Robyn, you are already on the list.

Mind, body, and FUN! Kids in Action is hosting a yoga class at HSC Pediatric Center. This class is free and open to all abilities. Space is limited, so email Robyn Winston Cohen at rwinston@hschealth.org today! Ideally (but not necessary), please be able to come to both sessions. Be sure to come dressed in comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle!

Teen Night Only Make Believe Show | Fri., June 14 | 7:00-8:30pm | 1731 Bunker Hill Rd., NE

This month’s teen night is an Only Make Believe show that is open to children of all ages and abilities. Three Only Make Believe actors will arrive at HSC Pediatric Center with a trunk full of colorful costumes for the children and perform a fun-filled, interactive, sensory-friendly play. Horseback Riding | Sun., June 30 | 10:00am-12:00pm | 1141 Sunrise Beach Rd., Crownsville, MD

Join us for therapeutic horseback riding at Maryland Therapeutic Riding Center in Anne Arundel County, MD. Kids will ride a horse and also learn about horse education. Kids must be at least 6 years old and weigh less than 200 pounds. Since space is very limited, your spot is not saved until all of the forms in the Rider Application Packet have been completed by your child’s physician and submitted to Robyn Winston Cohen at rwinston@hschealth.org.
