I would also like to draw your attention to the Section 14(c) National Online Dialogue hosted by the US Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy(ODEP). The purpose of the dialogue is to learn about the impact of Section 14(c) on the employment of people with disabilities. Section 14(c) is within the Fair Labor Standards Act and since 1938 it has authorized employers, after receiving a certificate from the Wage and Hour Division (WHD), to pay wages that are less than the Federal minimum wage to workers who have disabilities for the work being performed.
