As students begin heading back to school, Public Justice and the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF) are launching a new how-to guide for filing a Title VI complaint with the U.S. Department of Education. This guide is designed to help parents and K-12 students understand Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, a law that bans discrimination based on race, color, and national origin in schools.
