AJE would like to share with families a research opportunity for individuals who are the primary decision makers for medical care for their children. This study seeks to collect information from caregivers of children about their information seeking behaviors and educational preferences during disasters, pandemics, and every day emergencies.
To participate in this study, you’ll first complete a short online survey (10-15 mins) covering demographics, your child(ren)’s health needs, and how you search for information about your child(ren)’s health. If you meet the criteria, you’ll be contacted to participate in a 60-minute virtual interview via Zoom or phone, discussing care-seeking experiences before, during, and after the pandemic. Completing the interview earns you a $25 gift card as a thank you! This study is approved by the Yale Institutional Review Board (#2000036503) and is being conducted jointly by the Emergency Medical Services for Children Innovation and Improvement Center (EIIC) and the Pediatric Pandemic Network (PPN).
If you are interested in participating in this study, please complete the online survey. If you have any questions about the study, please contact Marc Auerbach (marc.auerbach@yale.edu).
