AJE wants to share this great opportunity with families about the first sensory-friendly visit of 2024 at the U.S. Botanic Gardens!
Come in out of the cold and join us Sunday, February 11th from 8:30-10 a.m. for our first sensory-friendly visit of 2024. Warm up and explore the living plant collection in the indoor Conservatory, stop by a seasonal discovery cart to learn about chocolate and evergreens and make a wearable greenhouse to take home. Members of the Visitor Services team and USBG volunteers will be on hand to welcome and check in registered participants, assist with wayfinding, answer questions and facilitate hands-on, engagement opportunities.
Sensory-Friendly Visit RSVP – The USBG is now piloting a new program registration system which all program participants are asked to complete ahead of visit/program participation. This extends to our sensory-friendly onsite visits. The hope is that our Visitor Service team has streamlined the form to a group registration requiring only your email address, your full name and the number in your party (no login and/or account required). For additionally details, check out U.S. Botanic Garden Sensory Tip Sheet.
