It’s time for POWER HOUR!

What is Power Hour?

Throughout Giving Tuesday today, the Catalogue is hosting four “giving challenges.” Each challenge will last one hour, and a prize of $1,000 will be awarded to the organization with the most unique number of donors during that time.

We have a chance to maximize the impact of your gift when you give during the “Giving Power Hour” from 12-1 pm. If we have the most individual donors during this “giving power hour” we will receive $1,000 if we win the 12-1 power hour giving challenge! This means that ANY SIZE DONATION of $10 or more will help us receive additional support, especially if you can give between 12-1 pm!

All of our funds will go directly towards providing families with the training, resources, individual support, and legal assistance they need to ensure their children have access to appropriate education and health services. A donation of

• $25 – will support a parent’s participation in a Parent Café to connect with other parents to collectively address the needs of children in DC.

• $100 – will provide a family with an hour of advice and counseling to help them address their issue or concern.

• $500 – will provide 15 families with Know Your Rights training to help them effectively navigate and advocate for what their children need.

• $1,000 – will provide a family with legal assistance to ensure their children’s right to a free appropriate public education.

• $5,000 – will provide a family with legal representation at a hearing or trial
