On August 16th for DC DDS’s inaugural Tech First Summit. This one day disability technology conference will be held at the new Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library from 8:30am – 4:00pm. Both In-Person and Online Attendance Options are available.
DDS Director Andrew Reese kicks off the event with an an overview of the agency’s Tech First initiative, which seeks to give people with disabilities more opportunities to use technologies to enhance their lives.
This conference includes several sessions presented by leaders from around the United States in the applications of tech solutions to support people with disabilities. In-person attendees will be able to experience different technologies live with vendors and exhibitors.
Online Attendees will only have access to the main show (see “Schedule” below for main show agenda)
Additional Registration Option: In-Person Participants will also be able to register to participate in a virtual Fitness Classes by, “Spirit Club”. Spirit Club Fitness was created and taught by people with & without disabilities
