Mayor Muriel Bowser has launched a program to connect eligible DC traditional and charter public school students in need of at-home internet for the 20-21 school year.
Beginning September 8, eligible households (households currently receiving SNAP and TANF benefits with children enrolled in a DC Public School or DC public charter school) will receive a call, text message, or email from DC Government asking if they’d like to join the program and for consent to share their name, address, phone number, and email with the internet provider that will be providing their service, either Comcast or RCN.
If your family is eligible but you have not yet received a text, phone call or email about the Internet for All program, get in touch with your school to make sure they have your correct address and contact information.
