Training for People with Lived Experience
The Department on Disability Services invites people with disabilities to take part in a two-day training designed to help them live life their way.
People Planning Together (PPT) was created by and for people who experience life with disabilities. PPT uses a hands-on discovery process to help participants identify the things that matter most to them. People with disabilities lead the sessions, helping attendees learn what is important to them and what is important for them in order to achieve a safe, healthy, and productive life. Participants will leave the training experience with a personal life plan they can use to guide conversations with their families, friends, or support teams.
