The University of Maryland is hosting a Kids with Cochlear Implants Meet-and-Greet on Saturday, November 12th from 12 to 2pm at the Language Science Center on the UMD campus (flyer below). The purpose of this event is to create a space for school-aged children with CIs (ages 8-13 years) to meet other children with CIs, share experiences, and make connections outside of school. The meet-and-greet will also include games and activities where children can earn fun prizes.
Parents will have the opportunity to learn about the latest CI research and speak with experts in speech, language, and audiology.
