As a way of keeping our families informed and up to date on resources, AJE is sharing the event below from the DC Pro Bono Center:

We will next hold the Advice & Referral Clinic remotely in February.  We will not hold the Clinic in person due to the ongoing prevalence of COVID-19.    

At February’s remote Clinic, we will offer help with consumer, housing, SSI/SSDI, torts, family law, probate, tax, healthcare access, and employment law matters that are rooted in the District.  We will only assist clients who are living on low incomes at February’s remote Clinic.

Prospective clients for February’s Clinic can call our intake line (202-737-4700 (ext. 3294)) from February 15-17.  We will screen those intakes and then, when appropriate, have volunteers call clients to assist them from February 22-25.  We will give referrals to those callers who are not eligible for help from the Clinic.

Those with limited means who need help prior to February’s Clinic may call our Legal Information Help Line at 202-626-3499.  They can also visit www.LawHelp.org/DC.
