OSSE is updating the regulations that govern Special Education in the District of Columbia.  You can find a copy of the proposed rulemaking here, but you can also find it here on the DC Register. There is a 30-day public comment period that began Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 and will close Monday, Oct. 4, 2021.

You can file comments in writing by email osse.publiccomment@dc.gov or by postal mail to the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, Attn.: Christie Weaver-Harris re: Special Education NPR, 1050 First Street, N.E. 5th Floor Washington, D.C. 20002, not later than thirty (30) days after the date of publication of this notice in the D.C. Register, which is October 4th, 2021
