AJE is pleased to share this recourse from Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia about the Child Tax Credit!

Legal Aid has developed one-page flyer  regarding the Child Tax Credit.  (Copy also attached below.)   The flyer explains  how the Advance Child Tax Credit works and provides information about getting advance payments for persons who haven’t filed tax returns and didn’t use the non-filer portal for stimulus payments.

Their website also provides other tax-related information, including how to get missing stimulus payments, information on the EITC, and where folks may still be able to free tax prep help.  This is a link to Legal Aid Society’s  tax help page.
