EdFEST, DC’s annual public school fair, will be virtual this year. The event takes place Tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 12 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Students and families can explore the city’s public and public charter school options (Pre-K 3 – Grade 12) online, chat directly with school representatives via video or direct messaging, and learn about the public school lottery – all from their device and all on one platform.

EdFEST will also have staff representation from key city agencies and community-based Pre-K programs that support the educational journey of the city’s children and youth, including AJE!

Registration is free and only requires an email address: http://bit.ly/virtualedfest. Families can call the My School DC Hotline at (202) 888-6336, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. for registration support in their language.

Language support will be available day of in American Sign Language, Spanish, Amharic, French, Mandarin, and Vietnamese by way of live interpreters. Instructions on how to access interpreters will be available by clicking on “Language Support” when logged into the event.  Remember EdFest is just the being of the process!  Other important dates are below.
