School Choice Study

AJE is happy to share this information with our families!  DC families have a chance to participate in a study that seeks to understand how parents make sense of and navigate school choice in Washington, D.C.   As such,  the researcher is recruiting research subjects willing to participate in a 45-60 minute interview to discuss their experiences with selecting a school in Washington, D.C. Research subjects will be compensated for their time and participation. In order to participate in this study, participants must meet the following criteria:

1)   Live in Washington, D.C.

2)   Have an elementary or middle school-aged child enrolled in a Washington, D.C. school (Traditional or Public Charter)

An important note about participant selection is that the researcher is seeking parents who participated in the My School DC lottery and parents who did *not participate* in the lottery.  There is a recruitment flyer attached to this post that can be shared with parents and a link to the online version of the screening survey can be found here –  https://forms.gle/uNiARQdPBoUfbpUp6.
