Affordable internet service for students and public housing families
Do you know anyone who needs home Internet service? Do they receive housing assistance, have school-aged children, or are they a senior (62 years or older)? If so, they are eligible for Internet Essentials, a program from Comcast that offers home internet for $9.95 per month.
In an effort to make it easier for low-income families to afford the internet, Connect.DC is offering three months of free internet service to DC families who are approved for Internet Essentials. Just follow two simple steps to apply.
- Enroll in Internet Essentials by calling (855) 846-8376 or visiting internetessentials.com
- Call 202-CONNECT after you have been approved and received your first bill.
